I was so excited to stay at this place, the website made it seem great! When we arrived, it was a very different story. I was under the impression there was a parking lot - which there wasn't but we could live with. After confirming that if we paid we would have breakfast made for us, we were told to go downtown and eat there because they didn't know what we would like for breakfast, etc. This was disappointing because the point of a bed and breakfast is to have a place to sleep, and breakfast when you wake up! Either way, I let it go. Then after we got into the room and started looking around, I found it to be incredibly dirty. The floors hadn't been cleaned, the sheets had all sorts of hair that wasn't ours. The bathroom was moldy, and absolutely disgusting - equipped with even more hair. The garden had a broken door that barely opened. When explaining to the company that we did not wish to stay a 2nd night because of how dissatisfied we were, and we asked for a refund, they were less than helpful. It has been 5 days since our stay and I am STILL arguing with them on getting my money back. They will not respond to my request. I understand the cancellation policy, but when a guest is this dissatisfied - they should definitely make an exception. I will never recommend this place to anyone! I have had great bed and breakfast experiences in the past but this ruined it for me! STAY FAR AWAY!

I have stayed at the shuter house many times and was very happy to stay there. The rooms are affordable and clean. I would definatly stay there again and would recommend the Shuter house to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in downtown Toronto.

I recommend you DO NOT RENT: Having booked accommodation weeks in advance, we travelled 2000 miles to Toronto. Upon arriving at The Park Inn, we were told they had no reservation for us and that the room we had reserved was occupied. I produced electronic verification confirming our booking. I and my 80 year old wife were literally out on the street. We were able to get last minute accommodation in the area for three time the cost. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE PARK INN!!!!!
